Grayson Roofing has chosen LP Smart Side product as they offer all the warmth and beauty of natural wood along with all the advantaged of LP® Engineered Wood.  LP® SmartSide® siding is free of knots and common defects, resists warping, twisting, cupping, and shrinking.  All of their product profiles cut easily with a circular, table or radial saw just like natural wood and take nails and screws just like wood siding.

LP siding products are very durable and impact-resistant, most profiles including lap, trim, and soffit are made to 16-foot lengths which make for fewer seams and quicker installation. LP® SmartSide® siding and trim are a good alternative to natural wood and fiber cement siding.  LP® SmartSide® products are made with SmartGuard® which is a manufacturing process to protect against fungal decay and termites, and these products are backed by a 5/50-Year Limited Warranty.

LP took their original and best-selling oriented strand board (OSB) and incorporated strand technology into the LP® SmartSide® Trim & Siding and LP® TechShield® Radiant Barrier Sheathing. On top of that, they have added technology to make certain products moisture resistant, flame retardant, and stronger than traditional lumber and plywood.
